The Growing Economy of Ghana.

Ghana is the fastest growing economy in the world in 2010, I felt this was news worthy because most people would expect that to be China, which is it is the fastest growing large economy.

Ghana is normally seen as a very poor country and has very little news coming out of it, I thought that people would be interested in knowing that it is the fastest growing economy in the world with an average increase of 20.3% this year alone.

I got the story from http://www.economywatch.com and the statistics from The international monetary fund website, using google docs to create the graph.

(If the graph doesn't work, please use firefox.)

Images Skills Test.

Preston Flag Market.

I took this picture on wonderfully dreary and grey Preston day. Using the highest resolution my small and frankly technologically inept camera, I climbed the steps of the war memorial and bathed in the scorn from geriatric veterans snapped this picture.

flag market thumbnail.

Using GIMP, and totally not a version of Photoshop I illegally downloaded, I scaled the Image down to a 100x100 pixel thumbnail.

That picture again only now 400 x 300 pixels

If you are thinking that this picture is the same as the first picture, you're wrong, It's only 400 by 300 pixels large and I cropped the edge slightly.

The war memorial.

This picture I like to call Slinky-Linky Horrible Shape, on account of it's slinky-linky horrible shape. Very few things from my original picture fit this size of picture without looking distorted and strange, so I settled for a picture of the Flag Market World War One Memorial cropped slightly.
